Tiny Rebel Bar - Newport

On the High Street and opening at 11:00 everyday. The strong point of this bar, not pub, is the staff. Helpful and knowledgable about beer. They do food as well, which is good but not cheap.  Good selection of Cask, Keg and Can Tiny Rebel brews.

However, here are the things that aren’t quite as good as they once were. There used to have a fridge full of non Tiny Rebel brews. However, post Rhona, it has gone and from what I have been told isn’t coming back. It’s only Tiny Rebel from now on.

Pre Christmas 2023, they used to have the fastest customer WiFi in Newport but now it’s  Captive Portal (slow) and only 4.5Mb symetrical.  Still, it’s better than nothing.

With all that said, it is still the best Central Newport Bar with Oktoberfest Hog Roasts and the occasional tap takeovers. Always worth a visit.
