July arrives and the first Saturday was very damp. It was Pride day and I was surprised how small it was, even with the weather. Sausage, Beans and Chips to see off The Spoons Cider Festival and a secret menu in The Project.

A humid Saturday afternoon in The Project, Caerphilly. More Guest Fine Ales on the Beer Board, including Vault City and New Bristol. It’s a great place to while away a Saturday Afternoon or any other time for that matter. Quality Beanoing.

It should have been the Tumble Inn for the Cider Festival and The Bunch of Grapes for Fine Ales but I didn’t get further than The Tumble. A gentle Cider Friday. Could it have been the Vanilla?

The Beer scene in both the Lower Rhymney Valley and Newport has certainly improved. I ended up with a Scottish Chilli Sour in The Project, Caerphilly.

Badly lit, poor sound. The morning and evening updates on mb05 in Gloucester. I nearly missed one when Apple’s WWDC was on bit I got it back in the end.

Sometimes, eve taking it easy takes it out of you. However, the quality Beanoing must continue and what a find The Thirsty Pine is. Brought to you by the same people behind The Siren’s Calling. A must return if there ever was one. Bye Bye mb05, you were a corker.

Time to move on to The Craft Beer cans in The Lord High Constable of England. More thoughts on WWDC 2025 and a Piney Bar.

A day when Costa Customer service gets puts behind process. Videoing a Gorilla not people. Turks Head closed and a wonderful afternoon in the Pelican. WWDC was interesting, the iPad changes stood out but Oh! what a reality distortion field.

Costa, customers are more important than chairs. The video is of Gorillas. Thge Turks Head is not open on a Monday and The Pelican is The UK’s Wiinner.

A sunny but fresh start to mb05, leaving Bedwas just before 06:00. There was a surprising amount of traffic all on of the rounds. Checked the car in at the Premier Inn and had a little explore before The Lord High Constable of England opened. The LHCoE really needs to let it’s Cask Ales rest more before they are served. Still the beers were good though. Sainsbury’s for an Apple Gift Card (Overcast renewal) and sandwiches. Extra Nectar points on the app. Five Guys for a double burger and lots of chips at a very high price.

The Hop Kettle next, where they have really good staff and Fine Ales but still no WiFi. A free half of Cask Ale on their savings card and then off to check in at the Premier Inn. Ground floor room with poor radio reception and it seems now that you can only get WiFi by the day.
