Premium Gäuboden Volksfestbier - Schlossbrauerei Irlbach - 5.6% ABV. B+ and a bit, a fruity start, then sweet malt and bread, fruity in the finish #ale #beer #bier
3.3/5. Back on the Lidl (Kalea) Oktoberfest, this time in a Bragdy Twt Lol oversized glass. Great start even if the weather is overcast.

Really carbonated
The review
Original Festbier - Brauerei Bischofshof - 5.4% ABV. B+ and a bit, malty, hoppy and gently bitter. A touch of sharpness. Tingly in the finish #ale #beer #bier
3.3/5. Highly carbonated and all the better for it. Interesting in the variation within the style. Watching DTNS.

Teisnacher 1543 Festmärzen - Ettl Bräu - 5.4% ABV. B+ and a bit, sweet malty and fruity, then hoppy with a dry fruity finish #ale #beer #bier
3.3/5. Maybe with hints of bread as well. Interesting that it's a Festmärzen not a Festbier. On Macbreak weekly now

The review
Wildbräu Kirtabier - Wildbräu Grandauer Grafing - 5.7% ABV. B+ and a bit, fruity base with sweet malt and hops in the body. Fruity with a gentle bitterness in the finish #ale #bier #beer
3.3/5. A penny off a Pint of Draft Beer in Pubs, not sure about bottles or cans. No mention of Festbiers.
